We all know choosing the right colour for your home can make all the difference. From white walls to feature walls, there are hundreds, if not thousands of colours to choose from. Dulux, Wattyl, Taubmans and Colorbond® are companies which all have their own colours. However, many small companies will also have their own colours as well.

With most lighter colours, tint added to a white base paint will be suitable. However, the darker the colour, the more likely a different base will be needed. This is because if the colour is too dark, it will not be possible for the colour to be achieved from a white base just off tinting alone.

If you are interested in a colour and are not sure what base is required, feel free to click on the 'Get In Touch' button below and we will happily let you know what base you require. Please provide the colour name, brand and any other details you may know.

Most colours do not need to be tinted within the same brand. For example, if you find a Dulux colour that you like, you do not have to have a Dulux brand paint, you may choose another brand of paint if you please. Similarly, if you find a Wattyl colour that you like, you may have that tinted into a different brand too. This works in most cases. If on the rare occasion it must be kept within the same brand, we will contact you when we receive your order.
